    Hola Iker Caballero Tajada,

    Hi Iker Caballero Tajada,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Based on the information you provided, it appears that your Surface Laptop Studio 2 is experiencing issues with the trackpad not working. This could be due to a number of reasons such as pending updates that need to be installed, outdated trackpad settings, or a hardware issue with the keyboard itself. It is recommended that you try updating your device’s software and trackpad settings first. If the issue persists, it is best to contact the live support team to assist you with your Surface device if you need to repair or replace it.

Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue. We will take some basic troubleshooting step to fix the issue.

    1. Make sure your Surface Laptop 2 is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click "Check for updates.
    2. Then download the Surface diagnostic toolkit on your Surface device. This will help us fix any hidden issue on your Surface.
    3. Restart your Surface Laptop 2. Sometimes a simple restart can fix the issue.
    4. Check the trackpad settings. Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and make sure the trackpad is enabled.
    5. Clean the trackpad. Sometimes dirt or debris can interfere with the trackpad's functionality. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the trackpad.
    6. Please try going to Windows Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad. Expand Taps then adjust the Touchpad sensitivity settings.

If still not working, we will boot the device to the UEFI screen. Verify if it works in Surface UEFI.

    1. Select Start > Settings > Update & security > Recovery.
    2. Under Advanced startup, select Restart Now.
    3. Under Choose an option, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings, and then select Restart.
    4. Verify if the touchpad allows you to do a left-click to select the menu on the left since right-click is not available.

If the trackpad is still not working in the UEFI screen, it is possible that there is a hardware issue. In this case, it is recommended to contact the live support team to assist you with your Surface device if you need to repair or replace it.
