I am not able to install Microsoft 365, after purchasing and clicking the setup file

I have tried repeated times, including turning off my antivirus software. When I clean on the setup file, it starts to download the program, and runs for 5-10 minutes, but then stops and give an error code, such as 0-2031 (17004)

    Hii,

Try resolving the uninstallation issues by using this link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/uninstall-microsoft-365-or-office-from-a-pc

Click "Uninstall," wait for the help window to open, and then click "Yes."

If the method above does not work, follow the manual uninstallation instructions provided at the following link:

You must uninstall the entire Office suite. If that is not possible, follow the procedure described below:

(Click here to download and run the MSI file.)

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/manually-uninstall-office

Try installing the offline version of office365: https://officecdn.microsoft.com/db/492350F6-3A01-4F97-B9C0-C7C6DDF67D60/media/en-US/O365HomePremRetail.img

Once the download is complete, disconnect from the network > Right-click > Select "Mount" > Open File Explorer > "My Computer" > Select the Office icon > Right-click > "Open" > Open Office Folder > Locate the setup64.exe file.

Error code 0-2031 during Microsoft 365 install is commonly caused by something blocking the installer or by a previous Office install/update that did not finish cleanly.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Restart Windows, then try the install again A previous install, update, or uninstall may still be stuck in the background. After restart, run the Microsoft 365 installer again.
    2. Check whether another Office installation is already running Look for an Office icon in the Windows system tray. If an install is already in progress, wait for it to finish before starting setup again.
    3. Use the offline installer Since the setup runs for several minutes and then fails, use the offline installer first. This can bypass issues caused by proxy, firewall, antivirus, or unstable internet connection.
    4. Remove any existing or partial Office installation Use the Microsoft uninstall troubleshooter to remove Microsoft 365, Office 2021, Office 2019, or Office 2016 from the same Windows PC.
      • Open the uninstall troubleshooter.
      • If prompted, select Open for Get Help.
      • Follow the prompts.
      • Restart the computer when prompted.
      • Then reinstall Office.
      Important:
      • The uninstall troubleshooter cannot uninstall Office 2024.
      • It must be run on Windows 10 or later.
      • It must be run on the same PC where Office is installed.
    5. If the installer seems to hang or disappear, wait before retrying In some cases the Click-to-Run installer continues in the background. Re-running setup immediately can cause conflicts.
    6. If the problem is related to connection or download behavior If the installer is being blocked by network settings, proxy, firewall, or antivirus, the offline installer is the preferred workaround.

If the install still fails after restart, cleanup, and offline install, the most relevant next step is to fully remove any partial Office installation and reinstall again.
