OneDrive 26.198.1011.0006 – All folders stuck on syncing icons.

2026-11-06T22:34:47.0066667+00:00

OneDrive for Business 26.198.1011.0006 on Windows 10 reports “Up to date”, and recent files sync successfully to the cloud. However, all folders in File Explorer permanently show blue syncing arrows. Restarting OneDrive and Windows Explorer did not resolve the issue. The Status column is blank. Please advise on a verified fix that does not require unlinking the account, deleting files, or resetting the sync configuration.

    Hello Ασημακόπουλος,

As a forum moderator, I am not able to access your account or delve into the backend systems to diagnose and fix this for you. My role here is limited to providing general guidance and solutions for users to implement themselves. Since OneDrive shows "Up to date" and your recent files are reaching the cloud, your files are most likely syncing correctly, and only the icons in File Explorer aren't refreshing. None of the steps below unlink your account, delete files or reset your sync settings:

    • Select the OneDrive icon in the taskbar and confirm there are no pending items or error messages.
    • Select the OneDrive icon, then Settings (gear icon) > Pause syncing > 2 hours. Wait a moment, then choose Resume syncing.
    • Updates are rolled out gradually, so if a newer version becomes available, installing it may fix how the icons display.

If the icons still don't update, I recommend that the Global Admin in your organization create a service request with Microsoft Support. A technical support engineer can perform a remote session to investigate the situation, verify the backend configurations, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the problem. If the issue requires further attention, they can escalate it to a specialized team for deeper analysis. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin. If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

For additional assistance, use this link to find the appropriate contact number from your region: Contact Microsoft customer support | Microsoft Support

I truly hope you get your issue resolved swiftly. Please know that even though I can't directly intervene, directing you to the correct, specialized support is the most effective help I can provide from my position. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please let me know if you need anything else. Wishing you all the best.
