Custom apex domain returns 404 on some front-end instances after moving it between Static Web Apps

Our Static Web App (default host brave-stone-0ddf08503.7.azurestaticapps.net) has two custom domains: theailab.co.uk (apex, Azure DNS alias A record) and www.theailab.co.uk (CNAME). Both are validated and ready in the portal.

The apex returns Azure's 404 on a large share of requests. www, on the same app, always returns 200. On 3 November 2026 at about 18:00 UK time, we sent 20 requests to each front-end IP:
- msha-slice-7-am2-0 (9.163.40.246): 6 of 20 returned 404
- msha-slice-7-am2-1 (132.220.38.112): 11 of 20 returned 404
- www: 10 of 10 returned 200

The same request to the same IP returns 200 or 404 at random, so some front-end instances in each slice are missing the hostname mapping.

History: the apex was bound to another Static Web App in the same subscription. Earlier on 3 November 2026 we removed it there and bound it to this app. The old app was deleted at about 16:30 UK time. Before the deletion, some apex requests still reached the old app. Since then they return 404.

Reproduce (run it several times):
curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}\n" --resolve theailab.co.uk:443:132.220.38.112 https://theailab.co.uk/

The app's configuration is correct, and the fault looks like a stale per-instance hostname mapping. Could a Microsoft engineer refresh the mapping for theailab.co.uk across these slices, or open a support case so the platform team can? This is our live public site, which launched today.
