This is a community forum not support, contact Pearson Vue, the exam provider, https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/microsoft.html#customer-service, for issues when taking an exam

Contact Pearson VUE Support first and ask them to review the failed MS-102 exam session and restore the voucher or document that Microsoft must issue a replacement.

    What to send Pearson VUE

    Include:

    • Your existing case number
    • Exam: MS-102
    • Exam date and appointment/order number
    • A concise description of the lab failure
    • Confirmation that you cancelled because the exam could not continue
    • A screenshot of any voucher error
    • A request to either:
      • restore the voucher, or
      • confirm in writing that Microsoft Credentials Support must replace it

Microsoft’s current support guidance assigns technical exam-delivery problems to Pearson VUE. Because you cancelled after the failure rather than stating that Pearson VUE formally cancelled the appointment, voucher eligibility must be reviewed by support; restoration cannot be guaranteed here.^1^

    Suggested message:

During my MS-102 exam, the Pearson VUE labs failed and I could not continue. I cancelled the appointment as a result. Please review the session under my existing case, restore the voucher so I can rebook, or confirm that Microsoft Credentials Support must issue a replacement. I can provide the appointment details and screenshots securely.

If this is already a Microsoft Credentials Support case

Do not create a duplicate case. Check the case through the Manage tab of the online support request portal and reply to the existing support email with the Pearson VUE evidence. Credentials Support confirmation messages are sent from [Email], so also check the junk folder.^1^

If the existing number belongs to Pearson VUE instead, or Pearson VUE confirms that Microsoft must restore the voucher, submit a Microsoft Credentials Support request:

    1. Open the online support request.
    2. Select Product family: Learning.
    3. Select Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials.
    4. Choose the category closest to an exam-voucher issue.
    5. Select Professional No Charge.
    6. Choose Email, then provide your location and time zone.
    7. Include your Learn username, Pearson VUE case number, MS-102 appointment details, screenshots, and Pearson VUE’s response.

Credentials Support is email-only. The support team—not this forum—will determine whether the original voucher can be restored or a replacement can be issued.^1^
