Azure Student Verification Issues

Hello!

I am a student at ASU online and my course is requiring download of MS Project as a software requirement for the class. The IT department at ASU informed me that MS Project is within Microsoft Azure Dev Tools. When selecting the Microsoft Azure Dev Tool Download from ASU's "MyApps," it asks students to input their information to verify that they are enrolled in the program, however, when trying to select a school from the University drop-down list, it does not populate. Then, when manually typing in the school name, it automatically deletes from the field as soon as I deselect the field. This causes verification to fail and after submitting the information, the next screen gives the message: "Unable to confirm your University ID."

I am trying to figure out how to resolve this issue as it's something time dependent for me. ASU's IT department informed me that this is the second case they had this occur within the last week and they're expecting to hear about it more often.

Can someone provide me some insight?

I have attempted changing passwords on three occasions, using a new browser, incognito mode, toggled cookie settings, verified the domain, etc. to no avail.
