Clarification Required – Incorrect Error Message When Recalling Emails Sent to External Recipients

The user is expiencing inappropriate message recall. Currently, the tenant has restrict users from recalling messages older than 15 minutes.

However, when users tried to recall messages to external recipients, the system responded the same error message indicating the message cannot be recalled as it is older than 15 minutes.

The customer thinks the reponse is not correct because external messages can't be recalled successfully no matter whether it is older than 15 minutes or not. They think the respons should be something like "the external message cannot be recalled".

Please check if the message recall response can be recified or we shall submit this to Microsoft for an explanation.
