Azure App Service is a service used to create and deploy scalable, mission-critical web apps.
Hi Munagapati, Sreenivasulu & thx for join me at Q&A platform,
this is most likely a Microsoft Entra ID permissions or tenant-access issue rather than an Azure App Service problem. App registrations belong to an Entra tenant, not directly to an Azure subscription, so having Owner or Contributor access to the subscription doesn't automatically grant permission to manage application secrets.
First, confirm you're signed into the correct Entra tenant and that your account is listed as an owner of the affected app registration or has an appropriate role, such as Application Administrator or Cloud Application Administrator. If the role is assigned through PIM, make sure it's activated. You can also try opening App registrations directly through the Microsoft Entra admin center to determine whether the problem is specific to the Azure portal.
If those permissions are confirmed but the page still returns "You don't have access", I'd check the Entra sign-in and audit logs for Conditional Access failures or permission-related errors. If other authorized administrators can access the registration, they may be able to rotate the expiring secret while the access issue is investigated. The new secret should be updated and tested in all consuming applications before the old one expires or is removed.
If multiple properly authorized administrators are affected, this needs escalation to Microsoft Entra ID support rather than App Service support. Include the tenant ID, application ID, exact error message, UTC timestamp, and any correlation ID. The key is to establish whether Entra is denying access because of a role or policy restriction, or whether the App registrations portal itself is failing.

Alex
