Since this happens only on the organizer device, the most relevant checks are the local Family Safety state and the browser sign-in state on that device.
- Refresh the Family Safety state on the affected Windows device.
- Press Windows + R.
- Type
cmdand select OK. - Run:
schtasks /run /tn "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefreshTask" - Restart the computer.
- This reset must be run on each impacted device.
- Check Microsoft Edge sign-in on that device.
- Open Edge and go to
edge://settings/profiles. - Review the profiles listed.
- If there are multiple profiles with conflicting Microsoft accounts, select the profile with the sign-in problem and sign out.
- Then try the Family Safety site again.
- Open Edge and go to
- Check whether browser sign-in is disabled by policy.
- In Edge, review applied policies.
- If BrowserSignin is set to 0, browser sign-in is disabled.
- If that policy is disabled, it must be changed before sign-in will work correctly.
- Restart Edge after any policy change.
- Check network access from the affected device.
- Make sure the device can reach these authentication endpoints:

https://account.live.com -
https://graph.microsoft.com

- If a proxy is used, check it in
edge://settings/systemand confirm it is not blocking those endpoints. - If possible, test from a different network to see whether the loop is network-specific.
- Make sure the device can reach these authentication endpoints:
- If Family Safety settings are being enforced on an adult organizer account, run the safety reset above and restart the PC.
- If the issue continues, send logs from the Family Safety mobile app:
