Security Updates for Windows 10

My Windows 10 PC is enrolled for ESU and KB5126256 is installed, but I am no longer receiving security updates using Windows Update.

The last security update I received using Windows Update was KB2267602 (version 1.459.576.0) which was created on 6 October at 00:12 BST.

"Windows Security" on my PC update automatically (not via Windows Update) to version 1.459.601.0 on 8 October at 11:08 BST, but that was created on 7 October at 09:47 BST.

Have no security updates been released on 8 October?

Why has Windows Update stopped finding and installing security updates?

The latest security intelligence update is:

  • Version: 1.459.601.0
  • Engine Version: 1.1.26080.3
  • Platform Version: 4.18.26080.4
  • Released: 10/8/2026 1:31:47 PM
  • Documentation: Release notes

This page says 1.459.601.0 was released on 10/7/2026.

Antimalware updates change log - Microsoft Security Intelligence

So, no update yet for October 8 I think.
