Hello Mohammad,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!Based on your query of changing or resetting your Windows admin password. Well! The fact of the matter is that the Office 365 email and password you have are for a cloud-based Microsoft account. They are not the same as the local Windows account password on that laptop. Unless the Windows login screen shows an email address instead of a simple username, that laptop is using a local account, and your Office 365 credentials will not unlock it. The cloud password reset process via account.live.com and only works if the Windows account is explicitly linked to a Microsoft account.
If the laptop was configured with a standalone local administrator account rather than an Entra ID work account, resetting the Office 365 password will have no effect on Windows login. Because the device is remote, a local account password reset requires physical access to use a bootable WinPE recovery drive or a password reset utility (such as utilizing the Sticky Keys/Utilman bypass).
It is worth mentioning here is that the built-in Administrator account is disabled but can still be accessed in Safe Mode. If you can boot into Safe Mode with Command Prompt, you may be able to log in as Administrator and then reset the other admin password using the net user command. However, this depends entirely on how the laptop was originally configured.
