If the answers provided don't help, there is another possibility.

All high volume mailers maintain a blocked list and there are any number of things (not your fault) that will get you on their list. This can happens when a single temporary glitch (like a full mailbox or a temporary server timeout) causes an email sent to you to "bounce". To protect their sender reputation, they mark your address as invalid and block future delivery.

They should have a process in place where you can get your email off of their blocked list. But I don't see anything like this in the PayPal help pages, so you'll have to try Customer Support. And many times Customer Support doesn't know how it works, or won't bother to walk you thru the process.

If you can still logon to your account, you can try creating a new outlook.com alias (new address but the same account) and update your PayPal contact info to this new alias.

    Hi,

Who is the Email provider of the account?

As QA Assist said, you must check the Junk folder.

If it is an Outlook/Hotmail, etc account, see below to add the domain to the Safe Senders list at the server level.

    1. Open Outlook on the Web and go to Settings (⚙️) → Mail → Junk email.
    2. Under Safe senders and domains, click + Add safe sender.
    3. Add PayPal's official sending domains, such as:
      • paypal.com
      • paypalobjects.com
    4. Click Save.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you good luck!

If only PayPal emails are missing while other email still arrives, check Outlook.com mailbox filtering first because messages can be redirected, hidden, or marked as junk before they are noticed.

    1. Check Junk Email and mark any PayPal message as not junk if found.
    2. Check the Other tab, plus Deleted Items, Archive, and any custom folders.
    3. Restore message order by selecting Filter > Sort > Date.
    4. Check whether email forwarding is enabled.
    5. Review rules that might move or delete PayPal messages.
    6. Review the blocked senders list and junk email settings.
    7. Add the sender to Contacts and, if needed, to the Safe senders list.
    8. Ask PayPal to resend a test message and check whether they receive a non-delivery report.

If email from a blocked sender still appears or the sender may be masking the real address, view the internet message headers of similar messages and compare the real sender address, then block or allow the correct address as needed.

If the missing PayPal messages never appear in Inbox, Junk, Other, Deleted Items, or Archive, and no rule or forwarding explains it, use Outlook.com support from the Help menu and choose Still need help? to reach support.
