Quick Views now appears above the list of chats or teams & channels when i am using teams. I use a small screen and this showing above the content i actually need for my work is inconvenient. there's answers about collapsing the list, but i don't want to waste two rows of space with headers that i do not need. i understand i cannot get rid of "Teams and Channels", but why do I need to be FORCED to use Quick views rather than being in control of what content I need to look at for MY job?
You can see from the image below the wasted space of unread, quick views, and then teams and channels. I don't need discover, or drafts, or followed threads because i only need to look at SPECIFIC teams and channels. i should have control over my own view. How do I remove QUICK VIEWS?

This function is worse than useless. Since it was rolled out with no warning, I had no idea it was there. Also, since it's appeared, I no longer see the additional notification in my Chats list when I've been tagged in a comment. I've missed two time-sensitive queries in the last couple of days because of this.

Can the UI team stop adding useless functionality with no way to remove it?

This comment has 200 people saying its helpful and the moderator response has 5. That just about sums up Teams. We get it Microsoft, you have a lot of customer who want a lot of different things and you are designing those features for them, great, but we have to be able to turn them off, especially because a lot of them are repetitious and visual clutter.
Why do I have to click a button to get text editing features on my comments, especially when the there huge tranches of blank space on the screen.
Do I need Teams and Communities and Storylines.. no, these are basically all the same thing
The activity notifications are the most persistent and annoying things on earth, you seem to want to make clicking notifications a full time job instead of letting me get on with my actual job.
I really dont want new features enabled by default, they are invariably buggy, with poor UI/UX choices. If I need them I will go looking for them.
I only use Teams because my company does, what does that say about this product

At present, there is no available setting to completely disable the Quick view feature in Microsoft Teams.
In this case, I recommend that you share your experience with Microsoft’s product development team. This will help them better understand user needs and feedback, allowing them to consider introducing more suitable configuration options in the future, including the ability to customize or disable this feature.

The newest additional set of buttons or modes is in the Chats, where we now have the "Quick view", I already lost almost an inch of height in the chat list due to the filter buttons we can't turn off for "unread/Chats/Meeting Chats" which i use rarely, but am stuck with always. , and now we have lost more height because of the "Quick views", which i can more easily get to with the "unread" button.
Please stop adding all of these convenience buttons at the top of lists without the config to turn them off. They take away from the actual list size, i feel like i'm looking through a keyhole at the data now, and each new idea that adds a new "quick button" or "convenience section makes the keyhole even smaller. Therefore waaaay more "un-convenient".

contiuously improve? is that what you try to call it? all of these "features" that disrupt workflow and steal screen real estate for what? so you can pat yourself on the back? do you really need our "feedback" if so, I have to assume that nobody at microsoft uses these products themselves.
This is a pointless response and very unhelpful. Passing feedback does absolutely nothing so stop referring people there. It would be more useful to be honest and admit this program is poor and you arent willing to actually fix things
