How attach pdf using Phone Link app

I would like to attach a pdf to a text using Phone Link,. I can see an option for sending an image but not a pdf. How can I do that?

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

It doesn't directly support attaching PDF files within the Phone Link app itself. If you need to share a PDF, you could try sending it through OneDrive on your PC and OneDrive mobile app on your phone.

The fact that this has been a constant request since the phone app was introduced, and is still not being taken seriously in 2026 is why I will never use the Phone Link app and will instead use the web based version of Google Messages.

This should be a no-brainer, but it's Microsoft Windows devs so why do I even bother hoping for common sense responses
