Hi all
We have a client, who is in school and they have asked us about revoking for all users, the option to edit and change their 365 Profile pictures in MS team and office 365. etc.
They have 1 instance where a student has put up their picture of being the teacher rather than themselves, thankfully not in a sinister way but highlighted to them that, it could be much worse.
Is there a way to delete all current pictures and revert back to the default setting of initials for all users?
Ideally then, to disable this option for all users on the tenant?
thanks in advance
Note - it is an On-prem AD to azure Sync, but i don't think that matters in this instance

Teams should respect the profile picture settings set via OWA Mailbox policies, as detailed here: https://office365itpros.com/2020/04/15/block-teams-users-changing-their-photos-ending-meetings/

As michev said above, if you want to block users from updating their picture, you’ll have to change the value for the SetPhotoEnabled setting to False in existing OWA mailbox policies. When the new policy is in place, users won’t be able to update their photo anywhere in Office 365.
It has been a while, how is everything going?
