Displaying your screen content to others during a Teams meeting or call for collaboration
Thank you for reaching out and for clarifying your concern.
Currently, Microsoft Teams does not provide a dedicated setting to permanently hide or automatically minimize the floating presenter toolbar during screen sharing.
However, you can use the following workarounds:
- Move the toolbar: While sharing your screen, you can drag the floating toolbar to another position on the screen where it is less likely to obstruct important content or controls.
- Hide the toolbar: You can use the hide option on the floating toolbar, if available in your Teams client version, to temporarily remove it from view.
If you'd like to see this functionality added, you can submit your suggestion through the Microsoft Feedback Portal to help prioritize this feature in future updates.
Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing you a smooth rest of your day.
