Can’t redeem Microsoft Rewards

Edit: By “the Bing app thing,” I mean the 6-digit verification code.

Whenever I try to redeem something using Microsoft rewards it askes for a bing app thing or phone number but the connected phone number isn't in use anymore so i tried using the bing app and I put my account details In bing but then it said it sent a code but it didn't so i tried changing the phone number but the add new phone number button is gone? so what can i do to redeem this?

    Hi cool,

    Thanks for clarifying that you mean the six-digit verification code. One additional check is to make sure the Bing app and the Rewards website are signed in with the same account. Start the redemption from the Rewards website rather than inside the Bing app and keep the browser page open while scanning the QR code and entering the code shown.

    If the code still does not appear or is rejected, submit a request through Microsoft Rewards Support. Include the exact error, the reward you are trying to redeem, your country or region and where the verification process fails. Please do not include the six-digit code or your full phone number.

    Since this is a user-to-user forum, community members and moderators cannot view or change your account’s verification status.

    I hope the Rewards team can help get this resolved.
