Authenticator app does not work for my one drive

Try these checks in order:

1. Make sure Microsoft Authenticator is unlocked on the phone. If the app is locked, the prompt or code entry box might not appear.
2. Check notifications for Authenticator. In the app, go to Settings > Notification Settings and make sure Show notifications is turned on.
3. Update the app. Microsoft does not support Authenticator versions more than 12 months old. Open the device app store and install the latest Microsoft Authenticator update.
4. Check connectivity. Switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data, make sure Airplane mode is off, and if a VPN is enabled, disconnect it temporarily and test again.
5. Check phone settings. Make sure Date & time are correct, the device is up to date, and battery optimization is turned off for Authenticator.
6. If the sign-in prompt says Authentication did not complete, also check text messages in case a verification code arrived silently.

If the app still does not work:

• For a personal Microsoft account, try password recovery if sign-in is blocked because credentials are not being accepted.
• In Authenticator, open the top-level menu and select Send feedback to send logs for diagnostics, then contact Support.
