Web App (Linux): Deployment Failures with HTTP 502 and SCM Container Restarts
Problem description
I am experiencing repeated failures when deploying my Linux-based Azure Web App. The deployment results in HTTP 502 errors, and the SCM container restarts unexpectedly, rendering the application unavailable.
Environment
Web App (Linux)
What I've already tried
I have restored the previous working ZIP package, confirmed the location of deployment scripts, attempted to connect via SSH, paused additional deployments, and verified the deployment ZIP contents. Despite these efforts, the issue persists.
Current status
I am seeking assistance to investigate the root cause of the SCM container restarts and guidance on a supported recovery procedure that preserves existing WebJob files and minimizes disruption.
I am requesting assistance from an Azure App Service engineer to determine why both the SCM deployment environment and application container are restarting.
Restoring a previously working deployment package has not resolved the issue.
Please investigate whether the root cause is an App Service platform problem, container startup failure, process-management issue or deployment configuration problem.
Because investigation may require private application logs and configuration details, I would appreciate continuing detailed diagnostics through the private support channel associated with my existing Azure support request.
Please advise on a safe recovery procedure before further deployments are attempted.
