Update your candidate information in your Microsoft Learn profile settings, then start AZ-104 scheduling from the exam page so your details are passed to Pearson VUE.
Update your exam profile
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn using the Microsoft account you intend to use for certifications—preferably a personal Microsoft account.
- Select your profile icon in the upper-right corner, then select Settings, or open the Learn profile settings.
- Enter your legal name exactly as it appears on the government-issued ID you will present for the exam. The legal name—not the public display name—is used for exam identity verification.
- Check that your contact email is current and accessible.
- Save the changes.
A Learn profile is required to register for certification exams. Also check whether an existing profile is associated with another personal, work, or school login before creating another one.^1^
Schedule AZ-104
- Go to the AZ-104 exam or Azure Administrator certification page.
- Find Schedule exam and select Schedule with Pearson VUE.
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account used above.
- Complete the requested address, telephone number, and contact email. These details are collected during scheduling because Pearson VUE requires them.
- Select Submit to continue to Pearson VUE, then choose the exam date, time, and delivery method.^2^
If the scheduling system still cannot find you
- If Microsoft Learn prevents a legal-name update: Submit a Microsoft Credentials Support request. Choose Learning → Microsoft Credentials → the closest profile or exam category → Professional No Charge. Include your Learn username, the exact error, and a screenshot. Credentials Support is provided by email.^3^
- If your Learn profile is accepted but Pearson VUE cannot locate the candidate record or appointment: Contact Pearson VUE through the exam appointment and scheduling support option listed on the same Credentials Support page.^3^
- If you may have more than one Learn profile: Sign in using any other personal, work, or school account previously used for Microsoft exams. Multiple profiles can make the expected exam information appear missing under the current login.^4^
Do not post your candidate ID, registration number, email address, or other personal information in a public Q&A thread.
