Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hello Stacy
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.
I understand you'd like a recurring meeting on the 8th of each month that automatically moves to the following Monday when the 8th falls on a weekend.
Unfortunately, Outlook does not support this type of conditional recurrence. You can create a monthly meeting on the 8th, but Outlook cannot automatically move weekend occurrences to the next business day.
Workaround:
- Create a recurring meeting for Day 8 of every month.
- If the 8th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, open that occurrence only.
- Move it to the following Monday and select Send Update.
This creates an exception for that occurrence while keeping the rest of the series unchanged.
