Hello Shinji,
The Windows ADK servicing folder is the directory installed with the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) that contains the ADK version of DISM.exe, which is commonly used for offline image servicing.
By default, the folder is located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools\10\DISM
To locate it:
- Open File Explorer.
- Browse to the path above.
- Verify that DISM.exe is present in the folder.
If the folder does not exist, the Windows ADK may not be installed. In that case, install the ADK and select the Deployment Tools feature, which includes DISM.
Once you have located the folder, you can retrieve information about the images contained in a WIM file by running:
Dism /Get-ImageInfo /ImageFile:C:\test\images\install.wim
Replace C:\test\images\install.wim with the actual path to your WIM file.
Note: You can also run the DISM version included with Windows from an elevated Command Prompt. However, Microsoft documentation may specifically reference the ADK servicing folder when working with deployment and image-servicing scenarios.
I hope this helps. If the information was useful, please consider Accepting the answer so it can help other community members facing the same question.
