Add a filed annual report to an existing Artifact Signing validation

Our Public Trust organization validation is In Progress. We uploaded the state’s acceptance notice and now have the filed 2026 Annual Report, which shows the legal company name and business address. Could the Artifact Signing team reopen document upload on the existing request or provide a secure upload link? I can share the request details privately.

An additional annual report cannot be proactively attached while the validation remains In Progress; ask Azure Support to have the Artifact Signing validation team reopen document collection or issue the appropriate secure upload workflow for the existing request.

Submit the request without deleting the validation

    1. In the Azure portal, open Help + support and create a support request for Artifact Signing identity validation.
    2. State that:
      • The validation type is Organization – Public Trust.
      • Its current status is In Progress.
      • The state acceptance notice was already submitted.
      • A newly filed 2026 Annual Report is now available and displays the legal company name and business address.
      • You want to preserve the existing validation and need document collection reopened or a secure upload link.
    3. Include the subscription, Artifact Signing account, region, and identity-validation request ID only in the private support case—not in this public Q&A thread.
    4. Keep the annual report ready, but do not post it publicly.

Artifact Signing’s documented workflow enables document submission when the review team requests more evidence: an email is sent to the primary address and the request changes from In Progress to Action Required. The email or portal workflow then provides the route for uploading the requested documents.^1^

While the support request is pending

    Monitor both:

    • Azure portal → Artifact Signing account → Objects → Identity validations → the existing request
    • The primary email address supplied in the request, including junk/spam and corporate filtering

If the status becomes Action Required, open the validation and follow the displayed instructions to upload the annual report. Email verification and document-request links are sent to the primary address and can be affected by filtering of external messages or links.^2^

Do not create a replacement validation merely to add this document. Microsoft documents that changes to information entered on a validation require a new request, but your goal is to provide supporting evidence for the unchanged legal name and address—not to amend those fields.^1^

If Azure Support cannot reopen document collection, request explicit confirmation on whether the current validation must finish or fail before another request is created. Artifact Signing identity-validation assistance is officially routed through Azure Support or Microsoft Q&A.^2^
