Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Hi tate figueroa,
I understand how concerning this is, especially when the compromised Microsoft account is also connected to your Xbox profile and other services.
Since the hacker appears to have changed the sign-in email or account alias, start with Microsoft’s Sign-in Helper. Enter the original email address, phone number or any other sign-in alias that was previously connected to the account. Follow the recovery or support option provided by the tool.
Because an Xbox profile is involved, you can also contact Xbox Support. Be ready to provide information that can help establish ownership, such as the original account address, gamertag, console serial number or device ID, previous billing details, and a secure contact email that you can currently access.
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Contributors cannot access account records, reverse an email or alias change, or restore the account directly. Microsoft Support can guide the recovery process, but account details can only be changed after ownership has been verified through Microsoft’s official recovery system.
Meanwhile, secure the email accounts and devices that were previously connected to the Microsoft account. Change any reused passwords, enable two-step verification where possible, and check for unfamiliar forwarding rules or recovery information.
For privacy, do not post your email address, phone number, console ID, recovery codes, payment details, or support case number publicly. Thank you so much for your understanding.
