Request to extend my exam due date

Microsoft exam vouchers normally cannot be extended after expiration; submit a no-charge case to Microsoft Credentials Support if exceptional circumstances warrant an individual review.

Submit the request

1. Open Credentials support | Microsoft Learn and select online support request.
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your Learn profile.
3. Select:
   • Product family: Learning
   • Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
   • Category: The option most closely related to certification exams or vouchers
   • Type of Support: Professional No Charge
   • Preferred contact method: Email
4. Include:
   • Voucher code or voucher program name
   • Original expiration date: October 29, 2026
   • Exam name and number
   • Learn username
   • A concise explanation of the unavoidable circumstances
   • Voucher email and relevant screenshots
5. Do not post the voucher code, registration ID, or other account details publicly.

Credentials Support handles other Microsoft Certification issues by email, but submitting a case does not guarantee an extension.^1^

Published Microsoft voucher terms commonly require both booking and taking the exam before expiration, prohibit expiration extensions, and state that expired vouchers are not replaced.^2^ The exact terms from the program that issued your voucher control, so attach the original voucher email to the case.

If the voucher came from AI Skills Fest, Microsoft’s special exception review applies only to learners who contacted Microsoft Support about availability or expiration on or before September 1, 2026. If an eligible case is already open, do not submit a duplicate.^1^
