Hi,
I recently redeemed the 5 Months Spotify Premium subscription.
However the code that I have received in the email confirmation is coming up as invalid, when I try to redeem at
spotify.com/ppt/microsoft/
I tried it multiple times, through refreshes and different browsers, but it still won't work.

Can someone please help me with this.

    Hi Ram Kartikeya Pappu,

I can understand how frustrating it is to spend Rewards points and then receive a code that Spotify will not accept, especially after trying different browsers.

At this stage, further browser troubleshooting is unlikely to help. Check the order status in your Microsoft Rewards Order History. If it is marked Completed, contact Microsoft Rewards Support and ask them to verify whether the issued code is active or needs to be replaced.

When submitting the request, provide the order number, redemption date, current order status, and the exact Spotify error. Do not post the redemption code publicly.

If Microsoft confirms there is no problem with the issued code, contact Spotify Support to verify whether the promotion can be applied to the current subscription type and account country.

As this is a community forum, no one here can access the Rewards system or manually replace the code, but the Rewards Support team can review the redemption record. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Check the Spotify reward in Microsoft Rewards Order history, use the redemption code or link shown under Order Details, and contact Microsoft Rewards Support if that exact partner code is still reported as invalid.

    Verify the issued reward

Since refreshing and changing browsers did not help, no further browser troubleshooting is necessary.

    1. Sign in to Microsoft Rewards with the account used to claim the offer.
    2. Open Redeem → Order history.
    3. Find the 5 Months Spotify Premium order and check its Status.
    4. Select Order Details and use the code or redemption link displayed there—not a copied or shortened link from elsewhere.
    5. If needed, select Resend to receive a new copy of the confirmation email. Microsoft documents Order History as the place to retrieve the official reward code or link.^1^ ^2^

If the same code remains invalid

Spotify is a non-Microsoft reward, so Microsoft directs users with invalid partner reward codes to Microsoft Rewards Customer Support.^1^

    Submit the form at:

    https://rewards.bing.com/support

    Include:

    • The reward name: 5 Months Spotify Premium
    • The order date, order number, and current status from Order History
    • The exact “invalid code” error and the Spotify redemption page used
    • A screenshot of the error, with the full code and personal information obscured
    • Confirmation that the code in Order Details matches the emailed code

Do not post the redemption code publicly.

    Region check

If Order History shows the order as cancelled or otherwise unsuccessful, verify that the reward was redeemed in the same region where the Rewards account was registered and that no VPN or proxy was used. Microsoft states that Rewards offers vary by country and redemption must occur in the account’s region.^3^

The available Microsoft guidance does not specify the eligibility rules for this particular Spotify promotion, such as prior Premium membership or an activation deadline. Rewards Support can confirm whether the issued code is defective or whether a promotion-specific restriction applies.
