Maxed out Polls

Hi!

I have been using Polls for years, and it has recently been telling me I can no longer create new polls because I have created the maximum number of polls, however I do not have access to old chats in which I can delete my polls. Is there a way I can do this?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi Laura,

Since Polls is backed by Microsoft Forms, you may be able to manage older content directly from Microsoft Forms rather than from the original Teams chats:

    1/ Go to Microsoft Forms

2/ Review your existing forms/polls and delete any that are no longer needed.

3/ Also check the Deleted forms / Recycle Bin and permanently remove old items there, as deleted forms can still count toward storage limits.

If you no longer have access to the original Teams chats where the polls were created, deleting them through Forms is the best place to start.

If you have already deleted old forms and emptied the Recycle Bin area, but you still cannot create new polls, you may need to contact your IT administrator to open a support ticket with Microsoft Support to investigate whether the poll quota has been released correctly or whether there is a service-side issue preventing new polls from being created.

I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
