How do I mark all my emails as read without doing it one by one. I would like to do it all at once.

In Classic Outlook for Windows, select the folder, press Ctrl+A to select every email in it, and then press Ctrl+Q to mark them all as read.

    Steps

    1. In the folder pane, open the folder containing the unread emails, such as Inbox.
    2. Click any email in the message list.
    3. Press Ctrl+A to select all messages in that folder.
    4. Either:
      • Press Ctrl+Q, or
      • Right-click the selected messages and choose Mark as Read.

Outlook performs this one folder at a time, so repeat these steps for any other folders you want to clear. Microsoft documents both the folder-wide procedure and the Ctrl+Q shortcut.^1^

    Hi Leigh Ann Rogers,

I understand how time-consuming it would be to mark a large number of emails as read individually. Fortunately, you can update all messages in a folder at once in Classic Outlook:

    • Open the folder containing the unread emails, such as Inbox.
    • Click any email, then press Ctrl + A to select all messages in that folder.
    • Press Ctrl + Q, or right-click the selected messages and choose Mark as Read.

Please note that Outlook applies this action to one folder at a time. If you have unread messages in other folders, you will need to repeat these steps for each folder.

For more information, you can refer to Microsoft’s official guide: Mark a message as read or unread in Outlook

I hope this helps make managing your emails a little easier. Thank you so much for your understanding.
