Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Leigh Ann Rogers,
I understand how time-consuming it would be to mark a large number of emails as read individually. Fortunately, you can update all messages in a folder at once in Classic Outlook:
- Open the folder containing the unread emails, such as Inbox.
- Click any email, then press Ctrl + A to select all messages in that folder.
- Press Ctrl + Q, or right-click the selected messages and choose Mark as Read.
Please note that Outlook applies this action to one folder at a time. If you have unread messages in other folders, you will need to repeat these steps for each folder.
For more information, you can refer to Microsoft’s official guide: Mark a message as read or unread in Outlook
I hope this helps make managing your emails a little easier. Thank you so much for your understanding.
