When will Microsoft catch up to Apple and start offering 2Tb and larger hard drives for Surface Pro and Surface LT 13.8"?

I'm running out of space and Microsoft is pushing me towards Apple by refusing to provide better SSD size options. (Apple MacPro STARTS at 2Tb and goes UP from there!)

Thanks.

    Hello, Dr RDG.

Let me point out right away that there are no Microsoft developers here and there never are. Simple users communicate here, helping each other...

Microsoft has several models from the Surface line that have 2 TB drives installed.: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/setup/surface-storage-options-and-hard-drive-sizes For example, some models from the Surface Studio line.

As for the Surface Pro and Surface LT 13.8", these are already manufactured devices and it is unlikely that their specifications will be redone. However, if this is possible (if the disk is not soldered on the motherboard), you can replace the disk yourself with a larger one. Well, since progress does not stand still, let's hope that Microsoft will equip newer models of Surface laptops with disks of 2 TB or more.
