In a Word table, numbers in column don't add correctly

I have a table in a Word document that I've used for years. (I use Microsoft 365 in Windows 11.) I have a cell at the bottom that I use to total the figures in the column immediately above it. The field has worked so far, but today I added a new row to the table, and now the field doesn't sum correctly. It misses the value in the cell that's part of the new row.

For example: The field code reads "=SUM(e2:e13)". Column e holds the values I wish to sum. Cell e1 holds the column heading. Cells e2:e13 store the numeric values. I don't have any blank rows. What should I look for?

Kindly disregard. My own fault for failing to count all the rows. I needed only to increase the number of rows in the formula--e2:e14). It's all good now.

Is e13 in the new row? Have you tried editing e13 to e14?

Word calculations don't update automatically like Excel. Normally doing a print preview will force an update and display the new total.
