Sign in to Xbox’s Enforcements page with the suspended account, open the active enforcement, and submit an appeal if that option is available.^1^
Check and appeal the suspension
- Open Enforcements and sign in using the Microsoft account connected to the affected Xbox/Minecraft profile.
- Look under Active enforcements and select the suspension to view its reason, duration, and status.
- If Submit an appeal or case review appears, select it and explain briefly:
- What happened immediately before the suspension.
- That you were reporting an issue in a Minecraft Realm.
- Why you believe the enforcement may be mistaken.
- Submit one clear, factual request. Xbox reviews eligible appeals through the case-review process.^2^
Reporting Realm activity does not by itself establish why the account was suspended; the enforcement entry is where Xbox provides the available reason and review options.
If there is no appeal button
Not every enforcement qualifies for review. The appeal option may be unavailable for short suspensions, completed suspensions, content removals without a service suspension, or device bans. Xbox customer support cannot remove an enforcement action; case review is the supported appeal route when the action is eligible.^1^^2^
If this is a child account in an Xbox family group, the adult family organizer must review the enforcement and submit the case review on the child’s behalf.^2^
If an appeal was already reviewed and denied, community moderators and support representatives cannot overturn that decision.^3^
If the entire Microsoft account is locked
If you cannot sign in anywhere—not just Xbox or Minecraft—this may instead be a Microsoft-account lock. Sign in to the Microsoft account page and follow the displayed verification or reinstatement link. After submitting a reinstatement request, avoid sending duplicates because that can slow the review.^4^
Do not post the account email address, password, security codes, or enforcement case details publicly.
