It has been several months now and I cannot fix this no matter what I do. My mic (hyperx solocast 2) works in every other app/game besides Fortnite. I made sure epic and fortnite have permissions, I disabled every mic that wasnt in use, I messed around with in-game settings for a solid hour and no combination had a fix. And I can hear other people they just cant hear me.

Thanks for posting here in Microsoft Community, I understand that you are having concern about audio channel conflict and priority struggle between the Epic Games Launcher and the Fortnite game client. To help us fix this, does your entire system audio go silent when this happens, or is it just Fortnite's game sound and voice chat? Also, please let us know what troubleshooting steps you have already tried like updating drivers or changing in-game audio settings so we can provide the right solution.
