I've been locked out of my FULLY-PAID Microsoft Business account for >2 weeks, I tried everything you suggested, and reps keep saying they will reset my MFA, but I keep getting the same outcome. They refuse to escalate the issue, and I am losing business!

I am a sole admin, locked out for weeks due to authenticator loops! Nothing you suggest or tried worked and I am loosing business. Nobody is getting back to me despite paying for a whole year!

I can't access support - because you require login, or have a phone system that sends me to the same page, and reps are doing nothing to resolve this. I have confirmed identity numerous times and had multiple phone calls, that produced absolutely nothing.

I can't even cancel my subscription because I can't access the account.

I will take legal action if this is not resolved by tomorrow!

I am a user just like you. In your position I would also be understandably upset.

First you need to reach the support team either via call, or via raising a support ticket via an alternative account (like a demo account).

Once you have reached support, they need to re-direct your request to the data protection team.

The data protection team then reaches back to you, and verify ownership. Whether you are successful at this stage depends on whether you can prove you own the account.

Can i find out at which stage you are at in the account recovery?

If you are still waiting for call back from the data protection team, then unfortunately you have to continue to chase the support team. From what I hear from Microsoft, there are a lot of scammers also trying their luck to claim account lockouts to trick Microsoft to unlock people's account, so Microsoft's data protection team can be very busy determining who is real or fake, and verification can be strict. It typically takes 1-3 weeks to get a call-back.

    Warm Regards
