I am not able to sign in without using my password. I want to use face recognition or a PIN, but it says I have to fix it on the web but there is no option to fix it on the web. I opened and PAID FOR a whole new account and the problem persists. Microsoft has gone completely robots and I can't even talk to a live agent. Considering cancelling all subscriptions.

    Hi @Jessica Anderson-Mayo

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially after you purchased another account and the issue still persists.

Please note that Windows Hello facial recognition and PIN are configured on the device, so purchasing another Microsoft account or subscription would not normally resolve the issue.

Since you are being redirected to the web without seeing an option to fix Windows Hello, please contact Microsoft Support through the following steps:

    • Visit Contact Microsoft Support.
    • Type Contact in the search box.
    • Select Get Help, then choose Contact Support or Sign in to contact support below.
    • Under Products and services, select Windows.
    • Under Category, select Technical support, then choose Confirm.
    • Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

The available contact options may vary depending on your location and the support team’s operating hours. If the chat option is unavailable, please try again during the displayed working hours or select the phone support option and provide your phone number so an agent can call you.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.

I hope the support agent can help check why Windows Hello is directing you to the web without providing the required option.
