Academic Verification page won't let me put in any school name

I am not able to put my own school, or even a bigger university, into the answer box on the Application page connected to the overview site. I do indeed have a Github account and my school email, the one I am using to send this request, is verified there; but even then, I cannot sign up to Azure for Students with my GitHub userID. The school email address--NOT showing anything for "Sign in with GitHub" as an option, even if I click on the "Azure for students - Sign in using your GitHub userID and not email address"--is grayed out, too. I cannot click on it. What is happening?
