    Hi Cannady, Robert

You can refer to AI's response first, as it provides the detailed steps for updating your working hours in Teams or Outlook.

In addition, if the working hours continue to display as 8:00 AM–5:00 PM after updating them to 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, you may also want to check the following:

    • Verify that the changes were saved under the correct Microsoft 365 account if you have access to multiple accounts or tenants.
    • Sign out of Teams and sign back in, or restart the Teams client to ensure the updated schedule is synchronized.
    • Check whether the same working hours are shown in Outlook on the web, as Teams and Outlook use the same work hours and location settings.
    • Allow some time for the updated settings to propagate across Microsoft 365 services, as changes may not be reflected immediately in all locations.

If the issue persists, please let me know where you are seeing the incorrect hours (for example, the Teams Calendar, your profile card, Scheduling Assistant, or another location), along with the Teams client version you are using.

I look forward to your response.

Change the recurring work plan in the Teams calendar so each applicable workday runs from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

    1. In Microsoft Teams, select Calendar.
    2. Select More options (…) → Calendar settings.
    3. Select Work hours and location.
    4. For each workday, change the start time to 7:00 AM and the end time to 4:00 PM.
    5. Select Save. ^1^

If that setting is unavailable in Teams

Update it through new Outlook for Windows or Outlook on the web:

    1. Open Settings → Calendar → Work hours and location.
    2. Select the applicable workdays.
    3. Set each day to 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.
    4. Select Save. ^2^

The Outlook setup is currently documented for new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web. After saving, reopen or refresh Teams if the profile card or calendar does not immediately show the new hours.
