The ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK shown in the address bar requires Pearson VUE Support to review and remove the block from your exam-scheduling profile before you can book AZ-900.
Request removal of the scheduling block
- Open the Credentials support page and select Pearson VUE Support under For Exam appointment and scheduling issues.^1^
- Tell Pearson VUE that Microsoft Learn redirects you to:
-
ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK -
blockCategory=Finance
-
- Ask them to review and remove the block on your Microsoft certification scheduling profile.
- Include:
- Your full name as it appears in your Microsoft Learn profile
- The email associated with that profile
- Exam code: AZ-900
- Country/region
- The screenshot
- Approximate date and time of the failed booking
- Details of any failed or repeated payment attempts, if applicable
Matching scheduling cases report that ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK typically represents a Pearson VUE account block, commonly following multiple failed payments.^2^ The blockCategory=Finance parameter does not publicly establish the precise reason for your individual block, so Pearson VUE must confirm it.
If Pearson VUE cannot resolve it
Submit a Microsoft Credentials support request from the same support page:
- Select online support request.
- Set Product family to Learning.
- Set Product or Service to Microsoft Credentials.
- Choose the category closest to exam registration or scheduling.
- Select Professional No Charge.
- Choose Email as the contact method.
- Provide your Learn username, the complete error text and URL parameters, screenshot, and any Pearson VUE case number.^1^
A directly matching AZ-900 case also directs affected candidates to create a Credentials Support request when the unexpected error persists.^3^
After support confirms that the block is removed, return to the AZ-900 certification page, locate Schedule exam, and continue to Pearson VUE to select the delivery method, date, and time. The documented registration process starts from the certification page’s Schedule exam section.^4^
Browser changes or another private session are unlikely to resolve this particular error because the matching reports identify it as a scheduling-profile block rather than an ordinary browser-page failure.
