Azure cannot manually grant the free offer through Q&A; first ensure the signup identity and billing details match your husband’s debit-card records exactly, then submit an Azure billing support request if Azure still reports that you are ineligible.

    Check the signup details

The current Azure free-account offer for eligible new users is $200 in Azure credit for 30 days, not $100 for one month. It also includes limited quantities of selected services for 12 months and some always-free services.^1^

Because the payment method has already been added, do not add it again. Instead, check these eligibility and validation points:

    1. Confirm that you are new to Azure.
The free trial is limited to users who have not previously had an Azure subscription. Changing the email address does not necessarily establish eligibility.^2^
    2. Check whether your husband’s card or matching personal information has previously been used for Azure.
Azure asks you to verify that another Microsoft account does not already use the same information. A card previously associated with an Azure subscription can affect free-account eligibility.^3^
    3. Make the card details match the bank records exactly.
The cardholder name, billing address and card details must be accurate. The selected signup country/region must also match the card’s billing-address country/region.^2^
    4. Confirm that the debit card is supported.
Debit cards are supported in most—but not all—countries or regions. Prepaid and virtual cards are not accepted. The bank may also need to enable international transactions.^4^

The documentation does not establish that using a spouse’s card is automatically accepted or rejected. Eligibility is determined during signup, and matching identity/card information or previous use of that information can matter.

If the details are correct but signup is still rejected

Create an Azure billing support request:

    1. Open the Azure support-request page.
    2. Select an issue related to Billing/Subscription management and Subscription sign-up.
    3. Include the exact error message and explain that this is a new-account free-offer signup.
    4. Do not post the full card number, CVV, identity documents, or other private information in a public Q&A thread.

Azure’s signup documentation directs unresolved signup cases to a support request.^2^

If support confirms that you are not eligible, the available alternative is a pay-as-you-go account. It includes monthly quantities of selected free services, but usage beyond those limits is charged.^5^

    After activation

In the Azure portal, search for Free services and create resources from that page, selecting the free tier explicitly. Resources created elsewhere do not always default to a free configuration.^1^
