    Welcome Jorge Sylvester,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that you cannot get audio in Zoom on Windows 11 and that you also see a OneDrive notification.

To narrow this down, could you please answer these questions?

    • Is the problem that you cannot hear other people in Zoom meetings, or that a Zoom recording saved in OneDrive has no sound?
    • What are you using for sound (built-in speakers, wired headphones, Bluetooth, or a monitor/dock), and did the problem start after a recent Windows update or driver change?

In the meantime, you can try these steps:

1, Turn off exclusive mode for your sound device

    • Go to Settings > System > Sound > More sound settings.
    • On the Playback tab, double-click your active speaker or headphones.
    • On the Advanced tab, uncheck Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.
    • Select Apply, then retest Zoom.

    2, Change the audio format

    • On the same Advanced tab, choose a different Default Format, such as 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality).
    • Select Test, then Apply, and retest Zoom.

    3, Turn off spatial sound

    • Go to Settings > System > Sound and select your output device.
    • Set Spatial audio to Off, then retest Zoom.

4, Restart the Windows audio services

    • Press Windows key + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    • Right-click Windows Audio and select Restart.
    • Right-click Windows Audio Endpoint Builder and select Restart.
    • Retest Zoom.

5, Roll back the audio driver

    • Right-click Start and open Device Manager.
    • Expand Sound, video and game controllers and double-click your audio device.
    • On the Driver tab, select Roll Back Driver if it is available, then restart the PC.

    Looking forward to your update.

    Hello,

    1. Are you joining the meeting using the Zoom app on your Windows PC, or are you accessing Zoom through the Microsoft Edge web browser?
    2. If you're using the browser, do other sites like YouTube work when playing audio? Is the problem only with the Zoom website, where you no longer hear the audio output (Sound) in meetings?

Could you also share a screenshot of the OneDrive notification or error message?

    • Is it related to a OneDrive sync issue, a storage limit warning, or a different error?

In the Zoom desktop app, join Computer Audio, then select and test the speaker or headphones you actually use; the OneDrive notification is separate from Zoom audio.

    Fix Zoom audio

    1. Join computer audio
      • Enter the Zoom meeting.
      • If Join Audio appears at the lower-left, select it.
      • Select Join with Computer Audio.
      • If the button says Unmute, you are already connected; microphone mute does not prevent you from hearing others. ^1^
    2. Test and select the correct speaker
      • In Zoom, select the arrow beside Mute/Unmute.
      • Under Select a Speaker, choose your built-in speakers or connected headphones—not an unused monitor, Bluetooth device, or dock.
      • Select Audio Settings and then Test Speaker.
      • Change the selected speaker until you hear the test sound. ^2^
    3. Check Zoom’s Windows volume and output
      • Keep Zoom open.
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound > Volume mixer.
      • Under Apps, find Zoom Meetings.
      • Make sure it is not muted, raise its volume, and select the same Output device used in Zoom. Windows allows individual apps to have their own volume and output device. ^3^
    4. Check the main Windows output
      • Select the speaker icon on the taskbar.
      • Select the arrow beside the volume slider.
      • Choose the correct speakers or headphones and ensure the volume is not muted. ^4^

If Zoom still has no sound

    • Test another app or video.
      • Sound works elsewhere: return to Zoom’s speaker selection and Windows Volume mixer.
      • There is no sound anywhere: go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Audio > Run. ^4^
    • If the troubleshooter does not resolve it:
      1. Go to Settings > System > Sound.
      2. Select the active output device.
      3. Set Audio enhancements to Off and retest Zoom. ^4^
    • If Windows shows no speaker or headphone device, open Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers, enable the device if disabled, or install the latest Windows 11 audio driver from the computer manufacturer. ^5^

    Open the OneDrive notification separately

The message “OneDrive – Personal: New notification” does not provide enough detail to identify the OneDrive issue, but it is not a Zoom audio setting.

    1. Press Windows key + N to open Notification Center.
    2. Find and expand the OneDrive notification to read its full message. ^6^
    3. If it will not open, select Start, type OneDrive, and open the app.
    4. Look for the white or blue cloud icon near the clock; it may be under Show hidden icons. If no icon appears, starting OneDrive from the Start menu should launch it. ^7^

Do not share screenshots containing your email address, account name, or private file names.
