Passing SC-100 alone does not create a shareable exam badge; the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert credential appears after the exam is processed and you also hold at least one qualifying prerequisite certification: AZ-500, SC-300, or SC-200.^1^
What to do
- Allow up to 24 hours after completing the exam.
Most exam results appear within minutes, but Microsoft states that they can take up to 24 hours to appear in the Certifications tab.^2^
- Confirm the certification requirement.
- If you already hold AZ-500, SC-300, or SC-200, continue to step 3.
- If you do not hold any of them, earn one of those certifications within one year of passing SC-100; the SC-100-specific accepted resolution says both credentials should then appear.^1^
The SC-100 exam is part of the requirements for the Cybersecurity Architect Expert certification; an exam itself is not a shareable credential.^3^^4^
- Check the correct Learn profile.
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn.
- Select the profile icon → Profile.
- Select Credentials → Certifications.
- If the credential appears, select View certification details → Share.^4^
- Also open Transcript to confirm that the SC-100 exam result appears.
- If the exam or certification is missing, try other accounts used during registration.
A credential can be attached to a different Learn profile—such as a personal Microsoft account instead of a work or school account.^5^
If it is still missing
If more than 24 hours have passed, you already hold one qualifying prerequisite, and the credential is absent, submit a Microsoft Credentials Support request:
- Open Credentials Support.
- Select Learning as the product family.
- Select Microsoft Credentials as the product or service.
- Choose the category closest to a missing certification or credential.
- Select Professional No Charge and Email.
- Include your Learn username, exam date, exam name, score report, and screenshots. Support for credentials is provided by email.^6^
Microsoft Learn Q&A participants cannot access an individual certification account or issue a badge.
