Unable to take the course completion assessment

Open the official Get started with Microsoft Copilot module assessment directly, sign in with the Microsoft account linked to Learnathon, and pass it; no alternative method for obtaining the Learnathon certificate is documented if the required assessment has not been completed.

Take the assessment directly

1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn using the same account used to register for Learnathon 2026.
2. Open the Module assessment.
3. Answer all questions correctly and confirm that a pass designation appears on your Learn profile. The official module lists this assessment as the requirement for earning that designation.^1^
4. Return to the Learnathon portal and check whether the completion status or certificate has updated.

The ICT Academy Learnathon guide describes the event certificate as becoming available after the assessment is passed.^2^

If the direct assessment is also unavailable

This is an assessment-access issue rather than something that can be bypassed with another certificate route:

• At the bottom of the affected Microsoft Learn unit, select Report an issue.
• Include:
  • Course and assessment name
  • Learnathon challenge URL
  • Detailed reproduction steps
  • Screenshot of the missing or disabled assessment
  • Any displayed error
  • An email address for identification

Microsoft recommends reporting unresolved assessment problems from the affected unit page.^3^ This feedback channel is one-way, so a response is not guaranteed.^4^

Because Learnathon is an event challenge, also email the support contact shown on your Learnathon challenge page, including the challenge URL and your Microsoft Learn profile username. That is Microsoft Learn’s documented support route for Cloud Skills Challenge issues.^4^

Temporary proof of completion

While the issue is being resolved, submit your public Microsoft Learn profile or a screenshot of the module’s completed units and pass designation, if your institution accepts it. Standard Microsoft Learn modules normally award profile achievements; they do not automatically produce a formal downloadable Microsoft Certification certificate.^5^

Whether that evidence can replace the Learnathon certificate is determined by ICT Academy or your institution, so request written approval before submitting it.
