Hello,
Since you are receiving the verification code but Microsoft is not accepting it, I would like to clarify a few things.
- Is the verification code being sent to the parent's email address or the child's email address?
- At what stage does the error occur? Does Microsoft reject the code immediately after you enter it, or does an error message appear after you submit it?
- Are you trying to add the child to your Microsoft Family Safety group for the first time?
In the meantime, if the issue is related to completing parental consent for the child's account, you can try the following procedure:
- Sign in to Windows using the child's Microsoft account.
- Open Microsoft Store and install the Microsoft Family Safety app.
- Open the app and try to sign in using the child's Microsoft account.
- If a parental consent request appears, complete the consent process using the parent's Microsoft account.
Once parental consent is completed, the child's account should be automatically added to the Microsoft Family Safety group.
Please let us know what happens after trying these steps.
