This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly to ask them to move the Office licence for you, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

A redeemed Office 2024 key cannot be moved to another Microsoft account through self-service; contact Microsoft Support and request an account-association review. ^1^

    Contact Microsoft Support

    1. Open Microsoft Support.
    2. Enter Talk to an agent, then select Get Help.
    3. Select Contact Support at the bottom.
    4. Sign in—preferably with the account currently holding the Office license. If that prevents access to support, use another working Microsoft account.
    5. Select Office Products (or Microsoft 365 and Office), confirm the selection, and choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
    6. Explain that an Office 2024 one-time-purchase key was accidentally redeemed to the wrong Microsoft account. Have the product key, purchase receipt, seller details, and both account addresses available.

Only Support can determine whether the association can be corrected; there is no user-accessible unlink or transfer control.

    Confirm which account owns Office

Sign in to Services & subscriptions with the account used during redemption and check whether Office 2024 appears under purchased products. Once redeemed, the product is added to that Microsoft account, and subsequent installation and activation use the account rather than the key. ^2^

Do not try redeeming the key again under the intended account. A “This product key has already been used” message means redemption is complete; it does not reset or release the key. ^3^

    If Support cannot change it

    • If the license can remain on the original account: install and activate Office by signing in with that account.
    • If the original account is inaccessible: ask Support whether purchase cancellation or a refund is available. If approved, repurchase Office while signed in to the correct account. A matching Office 2024 case identifies this as the practical fallback when account recovery is unavailable. ^4^
    • If purchased from a third-party seller: Support may direct you back to that seller for a refund or replacement. ^5^

    EEA exception

If you are in the European Economic Area and this is a transfer to another person, Microsoft documents a support-assisted transfer where permitted by applicable law. Support verifies the current owner’s identity and license rights, cancels the existing entitlement, and sends the new licensee instructions for associating it with their Microsoft account. ^6^

Transferring Office to another computer that you own is different from changing its Microsoft-account ownership; moving devices does not reassign the license to another account.
