Vision studio cannot connect to a resource

I created a computer vision resource in Azure and accessed to Vision Studio via 'go to Vision Studio' button but when I tried to connect to a resource, it kept loading like this attached image for 30 mins. I tried to reset my laptop, and access to the link again but it remained loading and still cannot find any resource.
Addition question: I logged in Vision Studio few months ago, there was several services like image/video analysis, OCR, e.t.c. However when I logged in recently I only found Face services but other services, is it because I didn't connect to a resource or they were moved to a different platform? Hi @Phuong Thao Vu

I'll start with your second question, because it probably explains the first one too.

Why you only see Face now: Image Analysis (which includes the OCR and image captioning demos you used before) is now marked legacy and deprecated in Azure Vision. Microsoft says it will be retired on September 25, 2028, and asks customers to plan the move away from it. Microsoft hasn't documented exactly what changed in Vision Studio, but that deprecation is the most likely reason the other demos are gone. Microsoft's migration guide points to these replacements:

  • OCR / reading text: Azure Document Intelligence (Read model)
  • Face: Azure Face API (not retiring)
  • Captions, tags and general image understanding: GPT models in Microsoft Foundry, or Azure Content Understanding
  • Image embeddings: Cohere Embed in Microsoft Foundry

For the endless "loading" when connecting a resource:

  1. Open Vision Studio in a private (InPrivate/Incognito) window and sign in with the same account you used in the Azure portal.
  2. Select the gear icon (settings) and check that the directory and subscription match the one where you created the resource.
  3. Make sure third-party cookies aren't blocked for the site, and turn off any VPN or ad blocker.
  4. Confirm your account has at least Cognitive Services User (or Contributor) on the resource.

If this is for a new project, I'd skip Image Analysis and start with the replacement that fits, so you don't have to migrate later.

What were you planning to use it for: reading text from images, or describing and tagging images?

If this clears things up, please consider accepting it as the answer. If the resource still won't load, let me know and I'll be happy to keep helping.
