Tools in Microsoft Advertising for creating, editing, and optimizing ad campaigns
Hello Chris,
Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!
You can keep Final URL expansion enabled while preventing your Performance Max campaign from sending traffic to specific pages by adding URL exclusions at the campaign level.
To do this:
- Open the Performance Max campaign.
- Go to Settings.
- Locate the Final URL expansion section.
- Select the option to exclude specific URLs or pages.
- Add the individual URLs, URL paths, or applicable page rules that you do not want the campaign to use as landing pages.
- Save your changes.
You may also use a page feed to provide Microsoft Advertising with the URLs that are most relevant to your campaign. However, a page feed is primarily used to guide or prioritize eligible landing pages. URL exclusions should still be used for pages that must not receive campaign traffic.
Please double-check that an exclusion does not unintentionally cover your campaign’s primary final URL or other important pages. Broad exclusions may reduce the campaign’s available website coverage and delivery.
