I am unable to access my e-mail in Microsoft Outlook. I keep getting a prompt stating "Send/Receive error"

I have called and been directed to help.mircosoft.com and was unable to understand how to fix my problem.

I have a Microsoft account which I pay for each January.

Please have someone from your customer service call me at <Mod remove PII> 250-xxx-xxxx (Canada)

Thank-you

Marjorie Witton

If your MS 365 Subscription qualifies, you may be able to use Call Back Support. But you have to initiate the support case.

MS 365 - Qualified Subscriber Support
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/support

You can also try free Chat Support.
From your Classic Outlook menu do: Help -> Contact Support

However, when I get to number 4 it will not accept what you suggest.

I assume you are referring to suggestions from the AI Answer. Unfortunately I can no longer see that Answer so I'm not sure what step you are trying. Could you detail what the AI Answer directed you to do?

I keep getting a prompt stating "Send/Receive error"

That typically means a problem syncing your Outlook client with your email provider.

1 -- What is the domain name (the part after the "@") on your email address?

2 -- Examine your Sync Issues folders. Please post a summary of any error you see there.

5 days later and I still have not received my requested callback. I have not been able to get into my Outlook.

I have sent several messages (such as this one) and also called your toll free number. Unable to talk to a person, a recording instructs me to visit "help.microsoft.com" which has not helped my issue.

What does it take to get an actual representative to call me back?? 250-<mod: PII removed>.

    PLEASE!!

    Hello Marjorie Witton,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I know, Microsoft Support doesn't have phone support for individual users, if you want to contact their support, you will need to reach chat support.

Before we proceed, may I have a photo of the situation to check for you? Please remember to remove all personal information before posting.

If you still want to contact chat support, please follow these steps:

    • Visit this website: Contact - Microsoft Support
    • Type Contact in the search box.
    • Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support or Sign in to contact support below.
    • Go to the Products and services tab, and choose either Microsoft 365 and Office category.
    • On the Category tab, choose Technical support.
    • Go to Confirm.
    • You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.

    I'm waiting for your reply.
