Completing Microsoft Learn modules does not generate a certificate of completion; provide your school district with your Microsoft Learn transcript, which records completed modules and can be shared or saved as a PDF.^1^
Download or share your completion record
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn using the account under which you completed the modules.
- Select your profile picture, then Profile.
- Select Transcript from the profile menu.
- Confirm that the completed modules appear.
- Choose either:
- Print → Save to PDF, then send the PDF to your school district; or
- Share link, then send the generated transcript link.^2^
You control access to this information. If sharing a link, ensure your profile’s privacy setting is not set to Private Mode, because that prevents others from viewing your profile.^3^
What the district will see
Microsoft Learn awards:
- An achievement badge for completing a module.
- An achievement trophy for completing a learning path.
- A formal credential or certification only after satisfying its separate assessment or exam requirements.^1^
You can also open Profile → Achievements to show your badges and trophies. If the district specifically requires a formal certificate rather than a transcript, ask whether it will accept the transcript or achievement record; module completion alone does not create a downloadable certification certificate.
