    Welcome Peter Owira,

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry you're still waiting after your remote session. I'm happy to help you finish the Windows 11 upgrade and the Canon printer setup.

As a community member on the Q&A forum, I can't see the details of your remote assistance session.

To guide you correctly, could you please let me know:

    • What do you see on your screen right now? For example, a progress percentage, a "Restart now" message, an error code, or nothing at all.
    • Has the upgrade finished? To check, press Windows key + R, type "winver", and press Enter. Does the window that opens say Windows 10 or Windows 11?
    • What is the full model name of your printer? For example, Canon PIXMA G3420. Is it connected by USB cable or Wi‑Fi?

In the meantime, you can try these steps:

Step 1: Check the upgrade progress

    • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
    • If you see Restart now or Restart required, save your work and restart your PC. Keep it plugged in, and don't turn it off while it shows Working on updates
    • If the download or install is still in progress, leave the PC on until it finishes. A Windows 11 upgrade can take more than an hour, depending on your internet speed and your PC.

Step 2: Install the Canon printer after the upgrade

    • Connect the printer, either by USB or to the same Wi‑Fi network as your PC.
    • In Windows 11, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners > Add device, select your Canon printer, then click Add device

    Looking forward to your update.
