Help. I'm in a Teams meeting, and I can't turn on my camera. All my drivers are up to date, and I have the shutter on my PC open as well.

    Dear Mark,

As a forum moderator, I am not able to check your device or Teams settings to diagnose and fix this for you. My role here is limited to providing general guidance and solutions for users to implement themselves. Since your drivers are up to date and the shutter is open, the cause is usually one of three things: the meeting organizer has turned off attendee cameras, Windows privacy settings are blocking Teams from using the camera, or another app is already using the camera. To help pinpoint the cause, could you please share a few more details?

    • What happens when you select the camera button? Is it grayed out, does it stay off, or do you see an error message?
    • Does the camera work in the Windows Camera app?
    • Is this happening in every Teams meeting or only one meeting?
    • Are you using the Teams desktop app or Teams in a browser?
    • Is this a work-managed PC or a personal PC?
    • Are other users having a similar issue, or is it just you?

A screenshot of what you see would also help a lot. Please mask any personal information such as your name, email address, or account details before posting it. Once you share these details, I will do my best to help you sort this out. Looking forward to your reply.
